Position Overview

We are seeking a Marketing Manager who will be a trusted advisor and partner to the business development team. This person will be responsible for the execution of the marketing strategy for all Claros product lines. This position requires someone who is well-versed in translating a highly technical value proposition for varied audiences, from the average concerned citizen to the technical counterparts working at partner institutions and customers. To be successful in this role, the Marketing Manager will have a strong ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously for competing interests, with a discerning eye for identifying marketing activities that will generate the greatest return on investment for Claros.

Essential Job Functions

  • Lead the process of engaging stakeholders to craft compelling and accurate deliverables that effectively showcase the capabilities and advantages of our technologies
  • Implement our brand identity in a way that clearly differentiates us and resonates with internal and external stakeholders and customers
  • Develop and implement marketing programs to support sales initiatives, including campaigns, promotions, and events
  • Support graphic design and layout needs, including the creation of visual assets, presentations, and branding materials
  • Maintain standards of size, color, scheme, and style to preserve company branding message
  • Participate in go-to-market digital strategy planning, implementation, and measurement
  • Stay informed and communicate changes in regulations that may impact marketing strategies
  • Knowledge, identification and development of our core audiences and stakeholders and most effective communication strategies
  • Oversee the effectiveness of Claros’ company website, ensuring content is up-to-date, user-friendly, and optimized for search engines (SEO)
  • Lead content creation efforts across both digital and traditional channels, including copywriting, imagery, and video production
  • Oversee traditional marketing efforts, including presentation and print materials, trade show support, and other offline initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall marketing objectives
  • Establish and execute a plan for internal communication activities to provide employees with frequent updates on marketing initiatives, customer wins and other business priorities

Competencies and Skills

  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful digital and traditional marketing strategies
  • Experience in managing creative agencies and third-party vendors, ensuring successful collaboration and project execution
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and effectively influence others through demonstrated project management
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, adept at influencing stakeholders and driving alignment; Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities simultaneously, with good judgement in prioritization of competing priorities
  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and staying updated on industry trends

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a strategic marketing role
  • Demonstrated experience in brand management, marketing strategy development, and market research and analysis
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Proficient in marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and digital analytics tools

Job Specifications

  • Compensation: Competitive base compensation of $70,000-$78,000 commiserate with industry experience
  • Location: Minneapolis, MN
